You or your child may be struggling with anxiety, trauma, or difficulty forming meaningful connections. Social situations may feel confusing, overwhelming, or exhausting, or past experiences may still be shaping how you relate to others. Traditional therapy may not have fully resonated, and you’re looking for support that is evidence-based yet engaging, something that honors individuality, creativity, and the ways games, stories, and pop culture help us make sense of ourselves and the world.

I have extensive experience in school-based counseling and special education, working with children, adolescents, families, adults, and couples. My work focuses on trauma and social connection, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), mindfulness, play therapy, and expressive arts. Informed by research on the therapeutic value of commercial video games, I thoughtfully integrate geek therapy and pop culture to support insight, engagement, and emotional growth.

Therapy doesn’t have to feel rigid or disconnected from who you are. I strive to create a collaborative, affirming space where clients feel understood while doing meaningful clinical work. If you’re seeking a therapist who values both science and creativity, I invite you to take the next step when it feels right for you.
