Emotional Support Animal (ESA) Evaluations
At Queen Village Therapy Group, we recognize the meaningful role emotional support animals (ESAs) can play in supporting mental health and daily functioning. Our licensed mental health professionals provide thoughtful, ethical ESA evaluations to determine whether an emotional support animal is clinically appropriate for your needs.

Emotional support animals offer comfort, companionship, and emotional grounding for individuals experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and related conditions. Unlike service animals, ESAs are not trained to perform specific tasks. Their value lies in the therapeutic benefit they provide through their presence and emotional connection.

Our ESA Evaluation Process
We offer a comprehensive, clinically informed evaluation that includes:
-
Individualized Clinical Assessment
A thorough review of your mental health history, current symptoms, and functional needs to assess whether an ESA may be beneficial. -
Professional Clinical Guidance
A licensed therapist will discuss findings, answer questions, and provide clear recommendations based on ethical and clinical standards. -
ESA Documentation (When Appropriate)
If clinically indicated, an official Emotional Support Animal letter will be issued for use with housing providers or other entities, in accordance with applicable laws and guidelines.
