Our Story

Queen Village Therapy Group began with two clinicians who crossed paths in Philadelphia’s historic Queen Village neighborhood, a place known for its charm, creativity, and sense of community. What started as conversations between colleagues slowly became a shared vision: to build a practice where therapy feels human, accessible, and deeply grounded in clinical excellence.

Our name honors the neighborhood where our roots were planted, but our work now extends far beyond Philadelphia. Today, we provide thoughtful, evidence-based therapy to clients across Pennsylvania and Virginia through secure virtual care. No matter where you are, our goal remains the same: to offer a space where you feel supported, understood, and genuinely cared for.

The Four Principles That Shape Our Practice

Evidence-Based Care That Still Feels Human

You deserve therapy that is both compassionate and clinically grounded. Our team uses research-supported, evidence-based approaches while staying warm, relational, and present with you. Effective care doesn’t have to feel cold or clinical.

A Non-Judgmental, Welcoming Space

No matter what you’re carrying, you are met with openness and respect. We work hard to create an environment where you feel safe to share your experiences honestly—without fear of judgment, shame, or having to "perform" for your therapist.

Showing Up as Real People

We believe therapy is most powerful when your therapist feels like a genuine human being—not a wall of jargon or a blank slate. Our clinicians bring warmth, personality, and authenticity into the room while maintaining clinical excellence. You get someone who is fully present with you, not performing a role.

You Are a Whole Person, Not a Problem to Fix

We don’t define you by your symptoms, stressors, or worst days. We want to know you—your personality, your strengths, your identity, the nuances of your story. Therapy is most powerful when we see the full human being in front of us, not a diagnosis.
