About Our Therapy Practice in Philadelphia

Queen Village Therapy began with two clinicians who crossed paths in Philadelphia’s historic Queen Village neighborhood, a place known for its charm, creativity, and strong sense of community.

What started as conversations between colleagues became a shared vision: to build a therapy practice where care feels human, accessible, and grounded in evidence-based treatment.

While our roots are in Philadelphia, we now provide virtual therapy across Pennsylvania and Virginia, making it easier to access care from wherever you are.

Whether you’re seeking individual therapy, couples therapy, or support for your child or teen, our goal remains the same: to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and genuinely cared for.

Our Principles for Therapy in Pennsylvania and Virginia

Evidence-Based Care That Still Feels Human

We believe therapy should be both compassionate and grounded in research. Our clinicians use evidence-based approaches, including CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, ERP, IFS, and TF-CBT, while staying present, relational, and engaged. Effective therapy doesn’t have to feel cold or clinical—it can feel supportive, collaborative, and real.

A Non-Judgmental, Welcoming Space

No matter what you’re going through, you are met with openness and respect. We aim to create a therapy environment where you feel safe sharing your experiences honestly—without fear of judgment, shame, or needing to present yourself a certain way.

Showing Up as Real People

We believe therapy is most effective when your therapist feels like a real person—not distant or overly clinical. Our clinicians bring warmth, authenticity, and personality into their work while maintaining strong clinical training. You get someone who is fully present with you, not just performing a role.

You Are a Whole Person, Not a Problem to Fix

We don’t define you by a diagnosis or a difficult season. Therapy is about understanding the full picture—your strengths, identity, relationships, and experiences—and helping you move forward in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable.
